[IL] No charges for Police Chief Brockway after arrest for domestic violence

ROANOKE Police Department, Illinois 22 May 2009 The police chief of Roanoke is on paid leave after the administrative arrested Thursday evening on a domestic violence charge. Chief Mike Brockway was arrested and spent some time in prison Woodford County before it was published. Woodford County Attorney Mike Stroh said no charges would be filed against Brockway. In the Roanoke Village Board Brockway had to rely on administrative, trustee until we can next week.During this Memorial Day Weekend Festival and Roanoke scurry Village President Bob said police protection is provided by the Woodford County Sheriff's Office made available.
